Prof Vajdana Tomic, MD Vice-Dean, Faculty of Health Studies, University of Mostar and Sanda Mandic, MCSc, Senior Administrative Officer successfully completed their training and teaching mobility in Tallinn, Estonia at Tallinn Health Care College from October 2 - 6, 2017.
Besides the pre-mobility defined objectives they were able to achieve even more. They visited East Tallinn women's clinic and West Central Hospital/Pregnancy centre. They also visited prenatal diagnostics/maternity centre/family centre of the Tallinn Health Care College and their simulation and skills centre for midwifery. Not only that they were able to exchange their practices and experience with their hosts - particularly the lectures by prof. Tomic contributed to this - they were able to promote our institution University of Mostar and as a result two of our students of midwifery will be invited for a study visit - student mobility within this call next semester.
Since the students of health studies have limited opportunities to study abroad, we strongly recommend to the management to continue this cooperation and support Tallinn Health Care College in renewing their application for KA107 mobility scheme with University of Mostar.
